The funds raised in 2007 have gone towards the installation of an Outdoor Classroom, benches for the Infant and Junior playgrounds and planters.

The New Outside Classroom, now known as the Octogon has been built, this has been a welcome addition to the school and is very popular with all the children.

The planters now installed in both playgrounds are very popular seating areas and include a wide variety of flowers and palnts.

The benches chosen by the school council provide extra seating areas where they can meet with their friends during playtimes.

The PTA continues to help the school with the “extras” – subsidising transport for school trips, Christmas decorations, flowers and help to make Mother’s Day bouquets, playground equipment and library books.
Parents and community members have given freely of their time for reading with children, playing the piano, helping with many clubs, transporting children to matches, developing the school grounds and making lovely outside play areas for the new Reception classroom and Year 1.
Events for 2008:
Community Fete - 21st June 2008
The school will, this year be involved, along with the Scouts and St Peters Church, in a large Community Fete on the 21st June 2008, which will be held on the both the Recreation ground and the school grounds, This will be a fantastic event on a very large scale.
Air Days
As usual the school will open it's car park, charging just £5 per car, for people to watch the air shows from the school and surrounding areas. There will be hot/cold drinks a BBQ selling locally bought sausages and burgers, and our well known Cake Stall selling locally home-made cakes and pastries (all made by parents of the school).
Previous air days have always raised a lot of money for the school, which paid for the Outdoor Classroom, benches and planters, we are hoping to raise even more to pay for the blackout curtains and new staging.

Past PTA Events of 2007
Christmas Fayre - 10th December 2007
Thank you to everyone who came to support the Christmas Fayre. There were some fantastic stalls and a visit from Father Christmas, we were delighted with the proceeds of around £580 to be shared between Action Aid and the school sports clubs.

Art Fair - 8th & 9th November
The PTA would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came to the Art Fair and especially all the children who worked hard on their artwork for the show. It was a big success and we sold over £3000 worth of art, raising about £600 for the PTA.

Thank you also to parents Nick Armitage, Paul Weston and Steve Jenkins who kindly provided stands for the exhibition. Thank you to Waitrose who made a donation of food for the Thursday exhibition.
