Duxford Community School Users Association Duxford School serves the villages of Duxford, Hinxton and Ickleton. It shares facilities with these communities, and hosts a wide variety of activities. The DCSUA (Duxford Community School Users Association) exists to represent the interests of all users of the school facilities, to improve the amenities, and to encourage the development of community use of the school. Those who are unaware of who we are or what we do might be interested in the following summary. Membership of DCSUA, which costs £3 p.a., entitles you to use the Community Room, School Hall, and other facilities, subject to availability, at preferential rates. These must be pre-booked by telephone. Members can also benefit from our group Lottery Licence. Should you wish to run a prize draw or lottery of some sort, where tickets are sold over a period in excess of 24 hours, the Secretary can supply the necessary forms at a cost of £5. Members can also apply to take advantage of our group Public Liability Insurance. All members are invited to attend our management meetings, which are held once a term, and to receive copies of minutes of meetings. Each member organisation has one vote on all matters and meetings are usually held in the school Community Room. The present officers of the DCSUA are: Chairman: Mrs Christine Moss
Secretary: Mr Graham Hamilton-Hopkins
Treasurer: Mrs Rose Cousins If are involved with a local group activity and think you could benefit from membership, please contact G. Hamilton-Hopkins at 8 Kintbury, Duxford, CB2 4RR, Telephone 01223 834008
