Home-School Partnership

We believe that the Home–School partnership is an essential part of our commitment to success. We see teachers and parents as equal partners working together to enable all children to reach their potential. We hope that parents/carers and grandparents will take an active part in their child’s education and we welcome their help in school.

Parent consultation evenings are held in the Autumn and Spring terms. At the end of the Summer term parents receive a comprehensive report on their child’s progress and an Open Evening provides the opportunity to see the achievements of children throughout the school.

Before parent consultations we ask children, parents and teachers to sign a copy of the Home School Agreement which sets out what is expected from each party.

We endeavour to keep parents/carers fully informed of school activities through regular newsletters.
